Alaskans Take A Stand is an educational non-profit organization. A gathering place for story sharing, and support of Alaskan's who stand in solidarity with Water Protectors for the protection and preservation of all life. Water is the foundation of life on our planet, without clean oceans, rivers, lakes and other essential water-paths we would be unable to sustain survival.
This page will serve as a platform for the delegation and alliance of supporters to post updates, events and prayers. Creating a path for the community to come together and share positive messages of strength and security. Alaskans Take A Stand is committed to proving that community is how we bridge the issues that divide us.
A group of unlikely individuals met in an East Anchorage home to discuss the state of the state and the need to launch an effort to recall Alaska's governor. From that meeting, a family was born and a movement was launched. From educating Alaskans on the need for affordable healthcare to informing our neighbors about the dangers of climate change to reinventing a sustainable economy--Alaskans Take A Stand is working toward a better Alaska for us all.
We are a diverse group of Alaskans coming together to increase community awareness on social and healing justice, Indigenous rights, and racial equity. Connecting through activities that address base community wellbeing measures.
